楚王便将屈原削职为民，逐出京城。从此以后屈原便被流放在一个小村庄中。
日复一日，年复一年。屈原也老了。在屈原晚年时，楚国被秦国灭亡了，屈原很伤心，便来到汨罗江边，发出了“举世皆浊我独清，众人皆醉我独醒”的感慨，投江自杀。

The 9th day of the 9th lunar month is the traditional Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival. It usually falls in October in the Gregorian calendar. In an ancient and mysterious book Yi Jing, or The Book of Changes, number 6 was thought to be of Yin character, meaning feminine or negative, while number 9 was thought to be Yang, meaning masculine or positive. The height people will reach is usually a mountain or a tower. Ancient literary figures have left many poems depicting the activity. Even today, people still swarm to famous or little known mountains on this day.
On this day, people will eat Double Ninth Gao (or Cake). In Chinese, gao (cake) has the same pronunciation with gao (height). People do so just to hope progress in everything they are engaged in. There is no fixed ways for the Double Ninth Cake, but super cakes will have as many as nine layers, looking like a tower.
The Double Ninth Festival is also a time when chrysanthemum blooms. China boasts diversified species of chrysanthemum and people have loved them since ancient times. 书面表达是考查学生英语综合水平的一个重要途径，很多孩子英语口语好，却无法写好英语作文。而现实情况却是从初一甚至从小学开始就已经有了对书面表达的考查，所以练习英语写作也是我们学而思小升初课程的重要环节，帮孩子们打好基础。
1、语法：这是现在孩子们在英语写作中丢分最多的一项。
(1)写完作文后要记得检查：语法知识需要靠我们平时一步步积累，但是孩子们要注意在写完作文之后一定要细心检查自己的作文，一些学过的语法点不要再错了。
(2)避免使用自己拿不准的句子：很多孩子喜欢用长句、复合句等。可是又对这些句子掌握得不是很牢固，所以很容易出错。一切拿不准的词和句子，都应该使用自己会的简单句和简单词，这样才能给考官留下好印象。
2、格式：拿到作文题，一定要把握好题目的要求，看清是哪种类型的题目，确定好相应的格式。
常考的题如日记，日记的格式就是需要在第一行左方顶格写上日期和星期，右方写上天气，然后再开始写正文。需要提醒大家的是，日记基本上都是描写已经发生过的事情，所以孩子们注意一定要用一般过去时哦!
还有一类常考的作文题型就是书信，书信的格式更需要大家注意：

3、词汇：如果在文章中能够正确使用一些高级词汇和词组，而不再是简单词汇，这会让老
师耳目一新。例如：如果要孩子们来写holiday。很多孩子们一开始就会写I went to …… last year. 用went就很大众化了，但是如果用take a trip这个词组就会显得你的英语水平跟其他人不一样了!对于词汇这个点，我向孩子们提两点建议：
(1)词汇需要平时积累，但是大家积累的时候一定要注意灵活使用学过的词。大家已经学过很多词组和单词了，可是大家都不会拿出来用，原因就是在于大家学的时候只记得了它的意思，没有认识该怎么使用，该在什么情况下使用。所以大家以后学习词汇的时候一定要翻翻词典学习例句，自己也拿来造个句子，要知道自己以后该怎么用。
(2)学习语言并不是纸上谈兵，练习写作也应该要多加练习。熟能生巧，练得多了，自然也就会知道什么时候用什么词，该怎么写作文了。
4、书写：这一点看似不重要，却最影响老师对你作文的整体评价。我们不要求要做到美观，但那是一定要整洁、认真。这样老师也能很快读懂你的文章，更能对你作文产生好的印象。

每年的五月初五是端午节。这一天早早的，大街小巷，家家户户都弥漫着清新的粽叶香。这一天人们要吃粽子，所以不论是商家店铺，还是寻常人家都早早泡好粽叶，备好黏米和馅料准备包粽子。这不，一大早粽子就似变魔术般被包好，煮熟了。这时心急的小孩子望着冒着热气的粽子会吵着要吃，而大人会耐心地哄道：“先等一会儿，用凉水拔一下再吃吧。”终于可以吃了，小孩子迫不及待地剥开粽叶，那好看的，黏黏的粽露了出来，咬一口真是香粽爽滑，三口两口吃掉后，小孩子一般还要吃，谁让它这样香甜又可口呢！大人往往笑着说：“吃吧，吃吧，多吃几个啊！”因为这一年里只这一个端午，也只有这一天包出的粽子，吃到人们嘴里，才会有不同于往日的味道。
说到端午吃粽子，这里还有一个小故事呢。我国古代有一位诗人叫屈原，他因为国家沦陷，而又不肯向敌人屈服，最后投江了。后人为了纪念他，选择在这一天包粽子投进江里。后来这一习俗广为流传，直到今天。
端午的这天不只吃粽子，还有别的活动。南方的一些城市这天会举行龙舟比赛。这一天大人，小孩儿纷纷涌向比赛的地方，这个比赛可是人们盼望已久的。而在我们这里这一天不仅家家包粽子吃，还会买些艾叶放在家里。更好趣的是街上会有卖小饰品的，这些饰品就是小孩子戴的香袋。小巧玲珑的，袋子上还绣着精致的五毒图案，小孩子戴上可以保平安。这些小饰品都很可爱，惹得过往的人驻足观看，非要买上一个才心满意足离开。
端午快临近了，我深深地期盼着。那清甜的粽香，它在我的心中已深深地扎下了根，我热切地盼望着它的到来。

农历五月初五端午节。是纪念屈原以身殉国，填入汩罗江的日子。为了不让鱼虾们把屈原身体上的肉吃掉。人们就用粽叶包裹着糯米投入江里，并且人们也要吃粽子、咸鸭蛋，在家门前挂菖蒲和艾草，人们还要举行赛龙舟。
首先是包粽子，要把竹叶洗干净，在热水中泡软，在准备好绿豆、鸡蛋黄、肉等材料做馅。再把长长的竹叶折叠，围拢做成一个窝，中间放进配好的糯米和粳米，包出棱角。然后把馅放在米里，和在一起揉均，最后把竹叶包着的粽子做四个角的形状。包粽子最后一道工序是：用棉线绳包好粽子，不然粽子在煮的过程中就会松开。把包好的粽子放进锅里，水要漫过粽子，用猛火煮，大约一个小时后，改用文火煮三十分钟。等粽子熟了以后，就会闻到淡淡的竹叶香，清香四溢。
然后是划龙舟，千姿百态的各式彩龙在江面游弋，有的舒展着优美的身姿，有的摇头摆尾，有的神采奕奕。当划龙舟比赛开始时，各色各样造型的蛟龙如箭里弦，欲争群龙之首。此时，健儿们狠劲猛划，奋力冲刺，两岸滚起阵阵加油的声浪。
端午节不仅流露出的是地道故乡情，还是一种古老的传统。

端午节又称端阳节，重五节，在每年农历五月初五。我最喜欢唱端午节的儿歌了：五月五，是端阳。插艾叶，戴香囊，吃粽子，撒白糖。龙舟下水喜洋洋。
端午节有很多习俗。每年端午节，人们用红、黄、蓝、白、黑五色丝线系在儿童的脖颈、手腕、或足踝上，称为长命缕。各家要插五端；菖蒲、艾草、石榴花、蒜头、龙船花。南方过端午节吃“五黄”：黄鱼、黄瓜、咸鸭蛋黄和黄豆瓣包的粽子、雄黄酒。无论南方北方，这一天要用雄黄在儿童的额头上画个“王”字，佩戴五颜六色的香囊。每逢端午节，人们把房子打扫干净，在厨房里洒上雄黄水，用来杀死毒虫防止毒虫孳生。
赛龙舟，吃粽子是端午节的主要活动。相传龙舟竞度是为了捞救投汨罗江而死的爱国诗人屈原。把粽子投进江河，是让鱼蛟虾蟹吃饱了，不再去吃屈原的遗体。
我最喜欢过的节日，莫过于是端午节了。这一天，爸爸妈妈都会早早起来给我包香喷喷的粽子。他们会采来荷叶，把糯米洗干净，把各种材料如糖、枣、肉等准备好，做成馅；然后用荷叶把粽子包起来，用绳紧紧地捆住；最后放到锅里蒸。美味的粽子就是这样做出来的。粽子分为素粽子和肉粽子，最常见的就是糯米粽子。对于这两种粽子，我都比较喜欢，但更偏爱肉粽子。它多汁、美味可口、入口则化、油而不腻，还有一股荷叶的清香，实在是太好吃了。每到这时，妈妈总是指指我：“你这个小馋虫！”
端午节展示了我国丰富的文化，也给我家带来了许多欢乐，我爱端午节。
