Long long ago, many families had three or four children. They couldnt look after everyone well, so the children must do everything by themselves. They were too poor to go to school. Some of them liked learning, but they had to go to find jobs to make money. Since they were children, they could do lots of difficult things like their parents. But now, many families have only one child and they regard their child as a pearl. They did everything for the children. Every day, when the child gets up, their parents help him to make the room clean. They also get breakfast ready for their child. 家乡靠着山，每当春天，满山遍野都是一片翠绿，在绿中点缀着粉红桃花，洁白的梨花和那些村庄居民们自己开辟的田野，多么和谐的一幅画啊。我喜欢随着大人们上山去树林中的水井打水。井的周围有大片树林，还有那些不知名的小花和蘑菇。当大人们坐在井边闲聊时，我便会跑到一边看小花，和虫子玩。

我喜欢我的家乡，因为那是我小时候住的地方，家乡的居民大多都养了家禽。闲暇时，我与鸡鸭为伍。我坐在石头上，看着它们，它们也看着我，我和它们产生了深厚的友谊。

我的家乡是美丽的，家乡居民们守望相助，即使发生纠纷也会很快和好。那些在故乡的美好一切，我一辈子也不会忘记。

My Favorite Festival

There are many festivals in a year, I love Children’s day, because on that day, I can have many candies from school. In the school, i will play many games, there will be no class on Children’s day, everybody will have fun. Children’s day is my favorite day, the day belongs to me. I enjoy that day so much. My parents will also celebrate it for me.

一年中有很多的节日，我喜欢儿童节，因为在那天，我可以从学校里得到很多的糖果。在学校里，我可以玩很多的游戏，儿童节那天没有课，大家都玩得很开心。儿童节是我最喜欢的节日，那天是一个属于我的节日。我很享受那一天。我的父母也会为我庆祝。

Spring comes at last. Everything begins to grow. The trees turn green, and the flowers come out. On the playground, in the fields, on each side of the road, the young grass grows everywhere.

Spring also arrives in our school. Come and see, behind our teaching building, there are some small pear trees covered with white flowers; on both sides of it, there are some other flowers smiling at you, Some are yellow, some are red. In our school garden, more flowers are there. All kinds of flowers of many colours can be seen.

Look, there are some Kites flying in the sky. The spring wind is blowing. The sun is shining brightly. Some boys are playing games in the sun, Listen, a group of girls are singing Where’s spring? It sounds like the singing of lark birds. All these make me think that spring is here, spring is there, and spring is just in our school. Fhe boys and the girls are all like flowers in spring.

“春节到，人欢笑。贴窗花，放鞭炮……”在我们国家有很多的传统节日，但我最喜欢的还是春节了，因为春节总是热热闹闹的，非常的有趣。

春节最让人难忘的是可以做很多事情。比如：包饺子，买年货，吃团圆饭，放鞭炮等等。其中我最喜欢的是买年货了。

大年三十的晚上，我们全家一起早早的吃完年夜饭，就开开心心的出发了，到了超市的年货区，里面热热闹闹的，到处都是叫卖声询价声，非常红红火火。年货区里面也分为好几大类，有卖花区、有窗花、对联区、还有食品区……我们先是去了食品区，里面有各种糖果、水果和各种各样的零食，看着就让人眼花缭乱!接着，我们又去了新衣区，里面的衣服各式各样，有红色的，黄色的，蓝色的……五颜六色，我们左看看右看看，分别挑了好几件新衣服，最后我又买了一些色彩鲜艳的花儿、桔子树、鞭炮、春联等等，满满一车子放都放不下了。看着一车子的成果，大家脸上都有着非常美丽的笑容，我们虽然逛的满头大汗，但一车子的东西让我们忘记疲倦，就这样我们开心的回家了!

春节真是一个热闹、喜气洋洋的节日，我非常的期待下一个欢乐的春节!

清明节是我国的传统节日。

相传，春秋时期晋文公臣子在他流亡时期非常急饿，介子推割自己的肉来给他充饥。后来在文公成为春秋五霸的时候封赏群臣，介子推却隐居山林，不要封赏。有人想了一个办法，放火烧山。结果介子推宁死也不愿意出来受封，和老母亲一起被烧死了。文王为了纪念介子推，命令所有人家都不能生火，并把这一天命名为寒食节。寒食节是在清明节的前一天，古人常把寒食节的活动延续到清明，久而久之，人们便将寒食与清明合而为一。这就是清明节的由来。

现在清明节也是最重要的祭祀节日之一，是祭祖和扫墓的日子。都要在这个节日祭拜先人。扫墓时首先要整修坟墓，主要是清除杂草，培添新土，以表达祭祀者对亡人的孝敬和怀念。

这就是清明节的来历和习俗。

Today is a wonderful day! It’s Children’s Day! My mother buys me clothes as my Children’s Day gifts. Look at me! I’m wearing my new clothes. I’m wearing a light blue shirt with a green skirt. I’m wearing a pair of orange stocking with a pair black leather shoes. Am I beautiful?

今年国庆节，我们一家来到婆婆家。晚上，我见夫钓了很多鱼回来，便央求姑夫也带我去钓鱼，姑夫说太阳会把你晒黑的，“男子汉，黑色才是健康色，我不怕。”姑夫经不住我再三的争辩，答应第二天带我去钓鱼。 This years National Day, our family came to her mother-in-laws house.In the evening, when I saw a lot of fish come back, I asked my husband to take me to fish. The husband said that the sun would take you black. "Men, black is healthy, I am not afraid."Conflict and promised to take me to fish the next day.

钓鱼前的准备工作：取出鱼饵粉加入面粉，再加入一点儿水，搅拌均匀，用手反复捏揉，使他们形成软软的固体状，再把捏好的鱼饵放入小盒子，带上水桶、渔具，我们兴高采烈的出发了。

今天天气格外明朗，我们来到离奶奶家不远处的一个鱼塘边，鱼塘坐落在绿荫环抱之中，我深深地吸了一口这清新的空气，好爽呀！姑夫告诉我：“鱼饵要罩住整个鱼钓，左手握住鱼杆，右手拉紧鱼线到脑后勺，用力一甩，选择一个合适的位置站好不动，若有鱼儿上钩，水面上的鱼漂会往下沉……”

我已经迫不及待了，不过我又想到灰太狼先，请保留此标记。）生说过：“心急吃不了小肥羊！”我听完姑夫的忠告，开始尝试，一拉、一甩、位置刚好，我便等着鱼儿上钩。

5分钟、10分钟、15分钟……还不见水漂的动静，我想会不会没了鱼饵，突然鱼漂一沉，我迅速拉起鱼竿，唉，鱼钩上什么也没有，姑夫说：“你要有耐心，等到鱼漂抖动得剧烈时才能收竿。”我重新回到原处，心里默默地念着姑夫的话，鱼漂又动了一下，我心里咯噔了一下，但马上屏住了呼吸，吸取了上次的教训，眼睛死死得盯着水面，突然鱼漂剧烈晃动起来，我急忙提起鱼竿，果然一条大鱼牢牢地咬住了鱼钩，在水中拼命地挣扎。我迅速往背后一甩，只见鱼在池塘的沙滩上直喘气。我兴奋地大叫：“我钩到鱼了，我钩到鱼了！”姑夫笑着说：“你真棒！”有了经验，我和姑夫大半天钓到了十来条鱼。

回到了家，吃着自己钓的鱼，心里真是自豪！ Back home, eat the fish you caught, you are really proud!

As important as Spring Festival .It is usually celebrated in September or

October. This festival is to celebrate the harvest and to enjoy the beautiful

moon light. To some extent, it is like Thanks Giving day in western countries.

夜幕降临，晚霞渐渐消失在天际，一轮如玉如盘的明月升上天空，一年一度的中秋节来临了!

中秋节的传统活动很多，有赏月，赏桂花，吃月饼我们全家坐在阳台的小桌旁，闻着园子里桂花沁人心脾的芳香，遥望着天空中的"白玉盘"，思念着远方的亲朋好友。但愿人长久，千里共婵娟。正如诗中所说，我们即使相隔千里，也能共享这美好的月光。

月饼是中秋节必不可少的美食，它的种类有很多，比如说，五仁月饼，豆沙月饼，蛋黄月饼，冰皮月饼每次吃月饼的时候，我都非常好奇，这么美味的糕点是怎么做出来的呢?自从看了舌尖上的中国，我才明白，做月饼也是非常复杂的哦。首先，挑选好模具和馅，然后把月饼粉调成面团，再一块块切好并搓圆，中间塞上满满的馅，最后放到模具里一压，一个美味的月饼就诞生了。

观钱江潮是杭州人特有的中秋活动。每年中秋节前后，杭州人都会查好潮水的时间，聚集在钱塘江边观潮。钱江潮一层叠一层，宛如一条长长的银线。潮水发出轰隆隆的巨响，如万马奔腾。潮水靠近时，我看到江中的鱼儿，一群一群跃出江面，那是多么欢快的景象。

中秋节是那么快乐，又是那么短暂，我多么盼望下一个中秋节早些来到啊。

Today is Saturday, my family and I go to have a picnic in the park, I feel so excited, because our family does not have the activity for a long time. At first, I go to see the park and play for a while, then I come back to my parents, and join them. I play games with my parents, they laugh happily. Today is a happy day for me.

今天是星期六，我的家人和我去公园里野餐，我觉得很兴奋，因为我和家人很多都没有参加活动了。刚开始，我去公园到处看看，玩耍了一会，然后回到父母身边，和他们在一起。我和家人玩游戏，他们笑得很开心。今天对我来说是很开心的一天。
