Chinese Lunar New Year,or Spring Festival falls on January 1st according to the lunar calendar,usually around the late January or early February.As the start of spring as well as a new year,it is the most important celebration of the year.Each family get reunited during the New Year.On the Eve,there is a big dinner for the family when each member return to get together.

The biggest New Years party is held on CCTV.Hundreds of people gather there,meanwhile millions of others all over the country were sitting in front of the screen to watch excellent performances for more than four hours continuously.The bell strike twelve at midnight to welcome the coming of the New Year or Spring.People start to set off firecraks and say "Happy New Year" to each other.

There are a lot of good things in the spring festival, I want to talk about good things today is very common, for you may be a little insignificant.

Spring festival is near, but the archduke is not beautiful. It s been snowing for 50 years. Snow is more than 15 cm thick, hanging under the eaves of ice hanging more than 10 cm long, frozen into disaster. Road freezing caused traffic disruption, material shortages, many poles " waist". 今天阳光明媚，外公把腊肉放到阳台去晒。我问外公：“为何把腊肉放到阳台上晒呀？”外公说：“因为今天是春节了呀！”要过年了！我差点叫出声来。“我最喜欢春节了！”我激动得欣喜若狂地大叫。

一大早，我就起床吃饭，因为今天是春节嘛。吃完饭，我和外公、爸爸把大红春联贴在了门上，春联红红火火的真是喜庆。接着，大外婆、小姨、姨夫等好多人都来了，我们一边聊天一边吃喜糖。在聊天的时候很多人都说我和表弟长大了，长高了，更乖巧懂事了。我听了，心里甜滋滋的。

不一会儿就到了拜年大红包的时候了，我和表弟纷纷给大人们拜年，拜年的时候要说：“恭喜发财，红包拿来。”然后，大人们就会把红包给我们。

最后，就是我最喜欢的环节了——吃年夜饭！外婆上菜了喽！我口水直流。哇！有我最爱的红烧肉、排骨汤、大猪腿、炸鸡翅膀……我和几个小朋友实在忍不住了，连忙把肉往嘴里送。这个感觉别提有多开心了。

吃过年夜饭，我们就开始看春晚，吃夜宵一直守岁到晚上十二点呢。

今年羊年春节真是开心。
