I took a trip to Shanghai with my mother during the seven-day holiday. It

took us more than two hours to drive to Shanghai from my home in Haimen. We

stayed in a large hotel on the eighth floor. On the first day， I just stayed in

the hotel and rested. On the second day， my brother and I went to Nanjing Road.

It’s the busiest street in Shanghai. When we got there， there were lots of

people. We walked from one shop to another. I bought two T-shirts and two pairs

because white is my favourite colour. My brother also bought some clothes. On

the third day， my mother took me to Jinjiang Entertainment Centre. It was full

Tower， the Huangpu River and Shanghai International Conference Centre. I didn’t

forget to do my homework in the evening. I had a full and happy holiday.

Chinese First Spaceman

When I was in high school, one day, my Chinese teacher was so excited to tell us that our country’s first spaceman had landed the space successfully. Hearing the news, all the students felt excited, too, we were so proud that we were Chinese, it meant that our country had stepped into the new stage. As the fast development of television technology, the television programs

have been greatly improved. For one thing, there are much more kinds of programs

for audiences than before. For example, there are programs for the elderly or

children, some for females and some for males. Besides, some programs are

educational and some others are interesting that supply knowledge or

entertainment for audiences. For another, the quality of television programs are

better and better. Previously, television programs are largely identical but

with minor differences. People pay little attention on creativity but just copy

from others. The audiences complain that the television programs are so boring

Christmas is the most important festival in the western world. It falls on

presents for our American friends on our way to their house.They had prepared

different kinds of gifts for their family and guests when we got to their house,

such as Christmas candles, cakes, cards, little toys, biscuits and so on. A

Christmas tree was placed in the comer of the brilliant hall. How beautiful it

was! We were impressed by these. We had a big meal. After dinner, they told us

My Experience to Eat Buffet

Today, after school, my friends asked me to have dinner with them, I felt so happy and went the restaurant with them. Then I found they wanted to eat buffet, I was so happy, because I always wanted to have buffet, I could eat a lot of food. As we paid the money more than we usually spent, so all of us wanted to eat as more as possible, even though we were full enough, we still tried to eat. I would go the wash room many times, so that I could continue to eat. I was born in a small county which is poor. Therefore, there were no beautiful clothes or many toys. Before I went to school at six, I only played with my peers nearby. It was such a wonderful period that I would never forget. We always made our toys independently, which cost no money at all. Sometimes, parents would help making toys as well. In our accommodations, many students have computers. Also we can see in the electronic reading room and the cybercafés, rows of students sit in front of the monitors. Computers play an important role in our everyday life.

We use computers to cope with files and photos etc. And the internet is just a large database and we can get on the internet to search for anything we need through the computers. We can keep in touch with the others with the emails, msn and QQ etc. Enjoying ourselves in music, games and movies can loosen us after nervous classes.
