放眼遥望大海，一望无际，仿佛水天相连。在上面时常会飞舞着一些雪白色的、浅灰色的海鸥，还漂浮着像海鸥一样颜色的云朵。湿润的凉风在海面轻轻地吹过，海面上掀起一个个上下翻滚的大大小小的浪头，层层叠叠，远远望去就像一行行正在展翅飞翔的白鹭；又如千万匹脱绳狂奔的烈马；似无数条正在怒吼狂叫的张牙舞爪的蛟龙“哗哗哗”地扑向岸来，撞击在岩石上，溅起一层叠过一层的浪头，远远望去，就像绽开千万朵洁白晶莹的白花。

海面上有几艘快艇，闪电般的在海面上往返地穿梭着，船的身上被划出的浪花飞溅四射，看上去好惊险、好刺激。听妈妈讲，他们是到崆峒岛观光的。崆峒岛离烟台山只有几海里，崆峒岛内树木枝繁叶茂、花草争荣、鸟语花香，可以说是一个自然的“岛屿公园”；渔民淳朴善良、粗犷奔放、热情好客，在岛内竖杆垂钓，吊上来的鱼虾，就地下锅，原汁原味、新鲜可口，朋友相聚，别有一番风趣。特别是崆峒岛的附近还有数个无人居住的小岛，有些岛远远看去，有的像海龟、有的岛像天鹅、有的像卧佛、有的像……这些小岛至今在民间还流传着许多动人美丽的传说呢。
