面对这么多谜语，很多人都拿着对谜卷，手里攥着笔，细细地边看边思考。有的人眉头紧锁，有的人笑容满面，一副信心满满的样子，还有的人拿着手机拼命地在网上查寻……小朋友们性子急，一猜出来就大喜过望，手舞足蹈，欢叫着、蹦跳着往对谜处狂奔。你看那边，一位带着老花镜的爷爷，正对着一条谜语若有所思，手里还捧着一本厚厚的书，看一看，想一想，翻一翻，一副很有耐心的样子……我在人群里还看到了许多班里的同学，大家齐心协力，努力思考，但个个谜语都使我们晕头转向，好不容易猜出一个喜出望外，直奔对谜处排队，但结果不是答错了，就是被人抢先了。最后还是爸爸妈妈们见多识广，猜中了好几个。可是，我们一点也不灰心，还是开开心心、说说笑笑地继续作战。

红红火火的元宵节过去，中国人的新年也就过完了，我们又将投入紧张的学习生活。参加了这场灯谜会，我更加明白自己的学识是多么浅薄。我一定要更加努力地学习，等我们学到了更多的知识，也一定能猜中好多谜语！

有关元宵节的由来，据说是在汉武帝时代，宫中有位宫女叫做“元宵”，很想念家中的亲人，但又无法出宫，有位大臣叫东方朔，他知道后决定要帮助元宵，于是他想了个办法。东方朔假扮成算命师，来为人民算命并说：“正月十五火焚身，就是指那天会有一位骑驴的女子，来烧这里，但只要在正月十三那天，城里的老人都到城门等候，天黑时，女子就会来，只要跪地祈求，全城便可得救。”

果然在正月十三那天来了一位骑驴的女子(其实是元宵妹妹扮的)。女子说：“我是领旨来烧城的，但百姓求情，我就给你们一个预言：长安在劫，火烧帝阙，十六天火，燄红宵夜。”说完便离去了。汉武帝知道后请东方朔想办法，东方朔说：“听说火神爱吃汤圆，就叫元宵来做吧，毕竟她最会做汤圆，另外还要臣民一起做灯，十五晚上挂满大街小巷，并点燃爆竹，到时候，火神就会以为那是大火，一定能瞒过祂。十五的晚上元宵照东方朔的指示，果然见到自己的家人;从此以后，这个习俗就流传下来，也因为供奉的汤圆是元宵做的，所以人们也叫汤圆“元宵”，正月十五也称做“元宵节”。

每逢元宵节除了提灯笼、吃元宵外，当然各地都会办的就是猜灯谜活动。但如今各地都有许多不同型态的节庆安排，像放天灯、放蜂炮、炸寒单等，变成每年固定举办的民俗庆典活动，也象征年节即将告一段落，代表过完元宵后，又将是上学、工作的开始了。

[大学生的英文自我介绍

今天是一年一度的元宵节，我和哥哥开开心心的去闹元宵。我们吃完元宵饭就出去闹元宵。我们来到烧拷店，买了一袋烧烤，开始闹元宵。我们在大路上玩耍，看迎老爷，英歌舞，花车，舞龙，铜身坐刀矫，扛炮箱，八音，舞狮采青，十分热闹。我们一路跟着队伍迎老爷，人们纷纷点燃香火拜老爷。

到了云落市场对面，英歌在打圈，我和哥哥在外面被别人挡到，看不见就挤了进去。英歌舞的各个人，脸上画着厚厚的妆，十分可怕。接下来的是舞狮采青，一根长长的铁柱，一头狮爬上去采青，吓死我了。然后是舞龙，各个生龙活虎，大龙一上一下，十分精彩，大家连连叫好。还有许许多多的节目。今年的元宵节我玩的十分高兴，我希望元宵节一年比一年好！
