Many people believe that human activity is causing the earth’s temperature

to rise. They say that this global warming will have dreadful consequences for

our environment, such as drought and flooding.

What should governments do to help prevent global warming? Give reasons for

The earth’s temperature is rapidly changing. As a result there has been a

lot of climate change such as heat waves, droughts and floods. Scientists

believe that this is the result of human activity, which is polluting the

Earth’s atmosphere. This could become a disaster if governments do not act to

help prevent global warming. They can act in three ways; by supporting research,

by making laws and by keeping the general public informed.

Firstly, governments can support research. For example, they should

encourage companies to develop vehicles that cause less pollution. They should

also support alternative sources of electricity from wind and water rather than

from oil and coal. As well, they should sponsor conferences to discuss the

effects of greenhouse gas emissions and possible solutions to the problem.

Secondly, they should make laws that limit the amount of greenhouse gases

that companies can emit. Private companies should be rewarded for following

these laws. They should also be punished for creating pollution.

Finally, everybody is affected by global warming. Therefore, it is

important that governments involve individuals in the problem solving process.

For example they should encourage households to save as much energy as possible

by using more efficient light bulbs or less hot water. They should also

encourage the public to recycle, and this should be compulsory for everyone.

Another way of saving energy is by public transport systems. Governments should

spend money on public transport to make it as easy as possible for the public to

save energy.

In summary, it is clear that there are a lot of things that governments can

do to prevent global warming. They should involve companies, support scientists

and encourage individuals to protect the planet.

今天吃完午饭，我便在妈妈的陪同下，兴冲冲地赶往一中体艺馆，去参观“流动科技馆”。自从前天老师宣布这项活动的那一刻起，我便一直迫不及待地期盼着。听老师说，那里有很多神奇又有趣的科学仪器，到底是些什么样的仪器呢？真想马上一睹为快呀！

来到老师交代的集合地点，——一中大门口，老远就看到这里早已聚集了好多家长和孩子，看来大家激动与迫切的心情是一样的。片刻后，我们在老师的带领下，排着整齐的队伍走进了体艺馆。只见馆内摆放着好多仪器设备，令人目不暇接。大家无比欣喜，唏嘘不已。我按捺住强烈的兴奋之情，决定按顺序来参观。首先，我看到离我最近的一台设备前，好几个同学正摆弄得正起劲，好奇心驱使我赶紧走上前去。只见玻璃柜子里有6个转轮，只有最边上的两个转轮与柜子外面的手柄是相连的，可是摇动手柄，所有的转轮都转动了起来。我纳闷极了：这是为什么？转轮是借助什么力量实现隔空传动的呢？我俯下身子，定睛查看。终于让我发现了奥秘，原来每个转轮边缘都贴有几个小磁片，转轮间的小磁铁靠磁力产生相互作用，带动与之相邻的齿轮转动。妈妈在一旁告诉我，日常生活中，有很多东西都利用了这个原理，比如：磁性螺丝刀、冰箱门。哦，我想起来了，难怪每次我关冰箱门，那门离冰箱还有一小段距离的时候，就被吸过去关上了。

研究完这个，我又参观了好多别的设施。后来，我又被另一台仪器深深地吸引了。透明的玻璃柜子里竖着两根小铁柱，铁柱上有不少尖利的铁针。我摇动手柄，小铁柱转动起来，当两根铁柱上的任意两根小铁针转到彼此挨近时，就迸发出明亮的火花。我问妈妈这是为什么，妈妈微笑着把手指向上方的讲解牌。我认真拜读，终于弄明白了：原来导体上电荷的分布与其表面的弯曲程度有关。导体表面突出和尖锐的地方，电荷的分布比较密集，因此其附近的电场强度也特别强。两根铁针靠近时，在强电场的作用下，尖端附近的空气被电离，从而产生尖端放电现象。这个知识太有趣了！回家后，我又打开电脑百度，了解到避雷针就是利用了尖端放电的原理，不断地放电，避免电荷的大量积累，达到避雷的目的。

我继续游走，把所有的仪器都研究了个遍。不知不觉中，一下午就过去了，馆内川流不息的参观者也陆续离开了，但我仍意犹未尽。在妈妈的一再催促下，我才依依不舍地离开。

今天，我真是收获巨大，不虚此行。我感觉，我已悄悄地爱上了这神奇伟大的科技。科技改善了我们的生活，改变了我们的世界！难怪有句话说：科学技术是第一生产力。想到这里，一个豪情壮志在我心中油然而生：从现在起，我要更加勤奋学习，将来争当一名科学家，为祖国，为人类的科学事业贡献一份力量！

我们到科技馆去了两次，第一次是夏令组织一起去的，只去了A馆。

第二次是自己坐车去的。A、C馆都玩了。A馆是综合馆，第一到第三层的展区是现代科学展区，第四层是古代科学展区。第一层展示了神一返回舱、磁悬浮列车等几十个有关动力的展品。我最感兴趣的要数“未来汽车”，“未来汽车”是一个模拟驾驶的展品。里面的小汽车是烧液态氢的，没有氢了就换成汽油，调整重心控制方向。我还给发动机加过液态氢呢！

一共180升。第三层有一个跷跷板，一个人能把四个人压起来。四层还有张衡发明的地动仪。它有八个龙头，指着八个方向，每条龙都咬着一个铁珠，在龙头底下有八个青蛙，哪里有地震，哪个方向的龙嘴里的铁珠就会掉到青蛙嘴里，发出“当”的声音。

到了科技馆，我迫不及待冲了进去。一进大门，我目瞪口呆。科技馆有很多好玩的，看得我眼花缭乱。有方形自行车，模拟建筑工地，模拟地震逃生，建防震房子，水上乐园……其中最让我难忘的就是建防震房子。

这个模拟建房与众不同。首先同学们可以分成两组，自行商量怎样搭房子才能更牢固，然后搭好房子在开启地震模式看看谁的房子先倒塌。我和组里同学商量，认为地基基础牢固才能抗震，于是我们用砖头模拟加大地基深度宽度，然后在向上建，上面打起来也注意平整。完成后，大家开始比试。同学们都围了过来，七嘴八舌地议论着，为双方搭的房子评论着，猜测着谁能赢。于是，我说开始了，就按“开始”按钮，选择“弱”档，这时微小的地震开始了。只见双方房子晃动一下，没事。接着，又按了“中”档，模拟地震级数更高了。这时只见同学们为双方相互加油，还有喝倒彩的，声音此起彼伏，好不热闹。地震级别变高了，双方的房子虽然没有倒下，但对方的房子已经出现裂痕了。当我再按“强”档按钮时，只听砰的一声，震耳欲聋，对方的房子轰然倒塌!而我方基础牢固，所以安然无恙!我们胜利了!太有趣了!

科技馆真是又有趣又收获知识的好地方!

I like reading books so much, rencently, I fall in love with the travel

books. When I open these books, I am attracted by the colorful pictures. Reading

these books can broaden my vision, I know there are so many places that I have

走，让我们去南京科技馆

周四晚上，妈妈告诉我，这个星期天要带我去南京科技馆玩。我开始期待周日的到来。

终于到了星期天。一大早我和妈妈坐车来到了南京科技馆，一进大门就看见左边有一块牌子，上面写着“桥的世界”。往里一看，呀！那里有许许多多的桥，用“形态各异”来形容一点不过分。有苗条的独木桥，圆圆的木桩桥，五颜六色的奥运五环桥，细细长长的索链桥一摇一摆地可爱极了……，在“桥的世界”玩了一会儿，我便和妈妈走进了科技大楼。

我们先来到了4D电影院，今天播映的是《鼠老三进城》，工作人员发给我们每人一副眼镜。我很好奇，为什么看4D电影要带眼镜？妈妈告诉我：“一是增强立体感，二是保护我们的眼睛”。

电影开始了，一块块陨石向我们飞来，像真的要砸到我们的头上，我本能的让开。接着，一只老鼠爪子像我抓来，吓得我往后一仰。当电影里的动物往下坠落时，我们的椅子也向下一沉，大家吓得惊叫起来，真有身临其境的感觉，我的手心全是汗……

On the other hand, the library needs to improve its equipment. The books on

The amount of the computer is not enough, I always find the students wait for

the computer, while some students need to use the computer for a long time. So

there will be better if increase the number of the computer.

Despite these drawbacks, I am generally pleased with the library and hope

that it will continue to make improvement in the future.

to seek for business cooperation. Many years ago, a non-profit organization

named the second Saturday of July as the International Day of Cooperatives. Its

purpose is to call for more cooperations between countries.

With the development of Internet, the world gets smaller, because the

这天，是我最高兴的一天，也是我最兴奋的一天，因为这一天我们要去科技馆秋游。这天，我的收获可大啦!

进了科技馆的大门，老师首先就让我们去看一场电影，同学们一听，高兴地蹦起来，我们来到了穹幕影厅，就见穹幕影厅像一个大鸡蛋壳似的，我们在这里看了一个电影珊瑚礁历险。这个电影主要讲了人类寻找珊瑚礁死亡的原因和怎样保护珊瑚礁，据科学家推断，珊瑚礁在30年后将会灭亡，而依赖珊瑚礁生存的30多亿条鱼也将随之灭亡，这是一组多么可怕的数字呀!我们人类应该保护它们，不让它们灭亡。

走出穹幕影厅，沿着方砖铺成的小路来到了A馆。走进A馆，我就像一只小喜鹊般好奇地东瞧瞧、西望望。突然，我的目光停留在了一个叫“倾斜小屋”地方，我不由自主地走上前去，看到别的同学走进去后都站立不稳，甚至摔到了地上，还有的干脆躺在了那里。尽管如此，人还是很多。我始终不敢进去，怕自己摔跤，最后，随着好奇心的驱使，我终于走了进去。

刚走进去，只有一个感觉—晕!我尽量让自己站直，但是，身体不听指挥，我费力地拽住栏杆，拼命地往外爬，爬出了这个“倾斜小屋”。

当我去看介绍牌时才明白，原来，这间房子是斜的，我们的眼睛看到的房子是正的，但是，通过内耳的前庭、骨骼和肌肉接受的重力却告诉我们，这间房子是歪的。这两个信号同时作用于大脑，并且发生了矛盾，使我们的平衡系统造成了紊乱，于是，我们就跌跌撞撞地不知怎么走路了，这都是错觉造成的。

看完倾斜小屋，我来到了钉子床，这可不是一般的床，床上有上千颗钉子，一颗钉子我还受不了呢，这有这么多的钉子，那我的后背还不被扎成“马蜂窝”了。我看别的同学躺上去都没事，我也决定试试。我来到钉子床前，不禁打了个冷颤，急出一身冷汗来，我紧闭双眼，躺了上去，此时，我的心已提到了嗓子眼，我紧张地躺着。突然排队的同学大喊一声：“你该下来了，该我上去了。”我非常惊讶，怎么还没觉得疼，就已经结束了?

随着科技的进步，我们的生活已经离不开科学技术。比如智能手机或者是电脑。他们已经影响到了我们的生活，他们无处不在，而我们也离不开他们。不过这全是好事?不，我不这么认为。

科技是一把双刃剑，我希望我们，能好好利用它好的一面，尽量避免坏的一面。这才是最好的使用方法。

三天的上海夏令营，转眼就到了最后一天。这是我们活动的最后一站——上海科技馆。

导游叫我们有序地进入科技馆展厅，我一眼望去，就发现了一个大大的黄黄的水龙头悬在空中。于是，我就像一匹脱了缰的野马，向那里飞奔而去。我站在那里，抬头注视着悬空着的水龙头，只见清澈透亮的水，不停地从那个水龙头中流出来。心里的问号也像这水流一般，一个接一个的闪现：水龙头悬空还能有水出来？没有任何水管，竟能不断放出水来？而且下面接了一只大盆，这盆里的水居然不会溢出来？……“啊！这也太神奇了吧！”我不由得发出惊叹，“现在的科学技术真是让人难以预测，人们只要能想到的，仿佛通过科学都能实现。这就是科技，这就是科技的力量。”

我又来到一处展位，看，这地方的中心，有一根擎天柱，似乎就是它把这个地方给顶起来的，在那根柱子上面有许多水母似的玻璃罩，里面有跟球差不多的一种球体，能发出静电，手只要触摸在那上面，接触10秒左右，就会感到一股电热，这时，你只要把手瞬间伸向旁边的同伴，就会立刻有一道亮光“嗤”一下闪过，像一道闪电，让人吓一跳，这太奇异了。

我继续向前，不知道来到了哪个厅，只见这里围着好多人，我立刻凑了过去。这是一个椭圆形的立体，上面放置着一台电风扇，这风扇产生的风过一阵，会形成小型龙卷风。看着这情景，我着实好奇，心想：这又是为什么？原来是一股风被吸引住，就会逐渐形成涡流，渐渐就形成了龙卷风。从这里我了解到了大自然中的龙卷风的形成。

我和小伙伴们，蹦跳着穿行在一个又一个的展厅中，观赏着一件又一件的展品，我们惊讶不断，我们疑惑不止，我们感慨万千……我们更是收获频频。

healthy lifestyle. A healthy diet is one of the most important parts of it. As

the saying goes, bread is the staff of life, eating healthily and deliciously is

by strangers.

With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the

honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the

spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and

spirit money could keep them happy, and the family would prosper through good

harvests and more children.
