It is widely noted that lots of traditional culture is disappearing along with the development of technology. Many ancient architectures and traditional ways of living have been deserted. It seems that the traditional culture and craftsmanship will be replaced in this modern era.

The following reasons can account for the above phenomenon. Firstly, traditional technologies are always considered ineffective while the new sciences are always highly efficient. Secondly, it is costly to protect the traditional culture. If the fund used to protect the ancient culture was instead delivered to the poor, it will be helpful to the improvement of their living standard. Thirdly, modern science and technology facilitate both our daily and academic life a lot. 在遗址公园里，导游向我们介绍良渚时期的农业很发达，已经开始使用石犁和石镰。手工业也很发达，已经有了纺织、玉石制作、制陶和木作。我再展览厅里看见头顶上挂着独木舟，应该是良渚人用石器凿出来的。墙上挂着石斧和石锤等工具，还有各种玉器的，其中有一张是介绍玉琮王的，上面雕刻着精美的神人兽面纹，导游说这线纹只有0.5毫米。展厅里还有两口陶锅，导游介绍良渚人就用这个来煮食物的。他们的食物包括猪、鹿和牛，我觉得他们吃得很好。

中华文化源远流长，在灿烂的历史长河中，每一个朝代都焕发着它独特的光辉，其中秦朝给我们留下了许多举世闻名的历史遗迹，最著名的就是现在西安的秦始皇陵兵马俑了。

作为世界考古史上最伟大的发现之一，兵马俑可谓是出尽了风头。1987年，法国前总理希拉克参观后赞叹道：“世界上有了七大奇迹，秦俑(兵马俑)的发现，可以说是八大奇迹了。”并评论说：“不看秦俑(兵马俑)，不能算来过中国。”是啊，那成千上万的秦俑、千年不减锐利的宝剑、极其逼真的青铜骏马，的确称得上是世界上最大的地下军事博物馆。

1974年7月15日，省文物局和西北大学考古专业的师生联合发掘出了三个兵马俑坑，总面积达20000多平方米，出土兵马俑8000多件，各种制作精美的青铜兵器数以万计。

放眼望去，雄伟壮观的景象映入我的眼帘，如果要我给这三个兵马俑坑进行排序的话，最受我青睐的莫过于那规模最大、最雄伟的一号坑了。它整整有200多米长，南北有60多米宽，总面积有14260平方米。坑里是蔚为壮观的景象：一片长方形的空地上，一支规模庞大、布局严密的兵马俑兵团排列在那里，俨然一支训练有素、英勇无畏的现代军队。一瞬间，我被这壮观的景象震撼到说不出话!秦俑面部表情大多庄严肃穆，似乎不仅仅是个陶土人，而是一支敢冲、敢杀、敢于嗜血的强大军队!在俑坑的东侧有210个与真人一般高的武士俑，细看这些栩栩如生的秦俑，不得不为古人精湛的技艺所沉醉：他们有的侧目凝神，有的机警敏锐，有的胜券在握，不论是神态，还是服装、发型都各不相同。三行七十列，个个挽弓挎箭，手拿鸳机，如同整装待发的前锋。后面是由6000个铠甲俑组成的主体部队，它们手执3米左右的矛，戈、戟等兵器，声势浩大，准备出战。坑的南北两侧及两端各有一列武士俑，威风凛凛，和卫队一般。除此之外，二号坑亦是壮观非凡，相比之下，三号坑逊色不少，大概是还在建造的原因。我想：正是考古学家们的精心修复，才有了现在气势磅礴、场面壮观的兵马俑啊!

然后我们走进了猿人洞。北京猿人生长在约五十万年前。那时猿人们靠打猎为生;白天男子到外面打猎，女子就带着孩子在树上摘野果。为什么那时人们不住在房子

里呢?原来，那时人们还不会盖房子，而且为了躲避风雨和野兽，人们才住在山洞里。后来由于许多灾害，猿人们不得不离开他们住了好几十万年的山洞。

大约三万年前，山顶洞人又来到北京猿人住过的山洞里。山顶洞人和我们长得几乎一样，他们会使用和制造工具。
